Autumn Colors

It's that time of year, and we've been trying to get up into the mountains to see the Fall colors of the leaves.  We just couldn't seem to make it happen.  Everytime we planned something, a conflict would come up.  Then there was a big one up Cedar Canyon -- a landslide which closed SR14 which is the road up to Cedar Breaks.  You can still get up Right-Hand Canyon, but, like I said, we keep having conflicts.

So this weekend while we were over to Delta,
we took a detour on the way home and went up Oak City Canyon to see what we could find.
It was a beautiful day, and we weren't disappointed.

Roger's family spent a lot of time up Oak City Canyon, and he has a lot of memories of times spent there.  When he was 9 years old, he got his first camera and
some of the first pictures using that camera were taken in this area.

Recognize this young man?

How about this "young" man?
